# Add song to multiple playlists

When adding a song to playlist, it would be very useful if you could add to multiple playlists at the same time and see at a glance which playlists the song is already in.

I like to have a playlist with everything, and separate playlists for certain things, so I usually will be adding a song to at least 2 playlists, if not more. The existing method of adding to playlist one playlist at a time is tedious, and it’s easy to forget which ones you have already added it to.

The way I picture it working, is when you click add to playlist and get the list of playlists, there could be a checkbox next to each playlist. If the song is already in then the checkbox is ticked, blank if not. You could then check/uncheck as needed and hit a save button.

This would be an awesome quality of life upgrade to plexamp.
