Could someone please provide the sample code / files to something really simple, my python (programming) skills are weak at best.

All I want to do is create an icon in the Channel Section, and when you click on that Ch Icon, it launches a new page in the same browser as Plex.

I know I need the following framework:

Folder: name.bundle

-Folder: Contents

--Folder: Code

--Folder: Resources

--File: Info.plist

the plist file from what I gather simply names the Ch Icon

the Resources folder is simply for artwork, I figured that out

the Code folder is for the actual Python code

Please don't provide snippets, just link the actual file or ALL the code necessary from start to finsh (with doco would be nice)

Literally all want is a single icon in the Channels Section, that will launch a website, using a URL variable would be nice but not required.

If there's a How-To or FAQ already posted that provides the step by step and sample files, just point me there.

TIA

Rob

yeah, after a lot of reading, and a little experimentation, I'm kinda drawing that conclusion.

I know this is probably not the correct forum but please tell me where to request a channel. I would love to see an Ancestry.com Channel. I'm finally getting my friends and family to login to my PLEX server and would like to see our tree. Thanks.
