# Adding new library fails

Server Version#: latest 1.21 Red Hat 8  
Player Version#: latest  
Player Running on Win 10 desktop.

Can someone explain to me why after I try to ADD new music library on my PMS server, I get empty library even after it was scanned for new files? You can see from images below that the library clearly has files in it.

This was NEVER a problem before. Why is it now? What did you do?

The only difference I can point to now that’s wasn’t before: there is a new security feature I should use to enter with 4 digit pin.

Please, I prefer response from a Plex employee with no guesses, just a solution.

It would be nice to receive a response to an issue, given this forum is the only way to obtain support, within a reasonable amount of time.
