# Adding Tuner XML Error

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364

I’m trying to add a tuner to Plex. I’ve had this tuner working with Plex before, but I built a new server and now I’m getting the following error:

SSDP: Error parsing device schema for [http://192.168.69.40:80/dms/device.xml](http://192.168.69.40:80/dms/device.xml)

I thought maybe there was something with the firmware of the tuner, so I upgraded it. I hadn’t upgraded the tuner since around the start of the pandemic, but I didn’t record the version I was on.

The tuner is:  
Hardware Model: HDHR5-2US  
Firmware Version: 20221031

I have tried both the official Plex and TrueChart app versions and both produce the same error.
