# Additional Library Icons

I know custom icons has been requested before and I can understand why it’s been denied as getting them to look good on all the different players would be a nightmare but I think there should simply be a few more icons available. Currently I have the following libraries

Documentaries  
TV Shows  
Movies  
Kids TV  
Kids Movies  
Stand up comedy  
Training

It would be great if I could simply choose from a selection of icons to help me quickly identify which is which.

Documentaries could just look like a microsoft folder  
Kids TV and Kids movies would be the same as current but with a little kids face next to them or just be rounded kiddy type versions of the current icons  
Comedy would just be a laughing face.  
training could just be a graduate cap  
and there could also be a xxx one for adult entertainment, maybe a music video one as well for people that have those in their library.

Please consider this, I think it would really help people to quickly see which folder is which and make everything look more beautiful as it’s ugly having the same icon over and over.

If you have any other libraries in your Plex comment below so we can get a list going, maybe then there could be a vote on which ones are required and which ones are too niche.

Early 2021 clean-up: duplicate  
While this is an earlier suggestion for that feature it’s been orphaned for some time, therefore closing this one in favor of a newer “clone”
