Similar to the orange update bar, it would be very helpful to be able to provide administrator announcements to users of the app (across all viewing mediums). If I’m going to do something that will cause interruption to my Plex’s service, like an update or saturating the network with file transfers, I’d like to let users know that it’s coming. Right now, it’s a cat-and-mouse game of watching the activity page and managing my duties. A Message of the Day or Admin Announcement feature would be extremely helpful. Bonus points if you can do scheduling for them, as well. ---

There is an existing request for this feature. [[Popular] Send server messages](https://forums.plex.tv/t/popular-send-server-messages/23773/1) Please add your vote by clicking ‘Like’ on the first post in that thread. Opening more threads for the same topic just dilutes the voting, and is against the [forum rules](https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/139657/how-to-create-a-feature-request "forum rules"). ---
