Not for the first time, I’m trying to figure out how to create smart album collections based on the album filter criteria number of plays, and last played. But as far as I can tell, using these filters results in a collection of albums based on the number of times/last time any track from the album was played.
What I want/expect is that the filter looks at the last time/number of times I played the album. I’m defining playing the album as clicking on the play button for an album (either from the library view, or the album’s page - ie explicitly queuing the album, not playing a track from the album), or if it is played as part of random album radio for example.
Using the track play history is basically useless for this purpose. For example say I want to make a collection with the rule “album has been played at least 5 times”, I will end up with a collection of practically every album in my library, even though there are albums in there that, as far as Plex is concerned, I have never played.
Is this a bug? Am I doing something wrong? Or should this be a feature request?
