# Alexa skill no longer working amazon echo

Server Version#: 1.40.1.8227-c0dd5a73e  
Amazon Echo Alexa skill can no longer (in past 48 hours or so) connect to my Plex server. Error “Uh Oh something went wrong. I’ve alerted the Plex team so they can take a look”  
I can play from my server from outside my network via 4G on a phone using Plex Amp.  
A music server via Echo devices is my main use case for plex.  
I appreciate that there have been a lot of changes to remote access recently - what is the fix?

I have been experiencing similar issues when trying to playback music. It work sometimes for me, seems to be a recent issue.

I have used the Plex skill for years and have never had this error

Server Version 1.41.6.9685
