# Alien Covenant (2017)

I have just watched the new _Alien Covenant (2017)_ from director Ridley Scott… It seems he really went back to his roots and made an Alien movie in the same vein as his original _Alien_ from 1979. It’s dark tonally (even in its cinematography), bleak, full of fascinating sci-fi and technology, and best of all, chock full of those shocking and violent alien attack moments that really take you by surprise sometimes. Androids Walter and David are fascinating and creepy as hell too. Has anyone else seen it? What do you think?
