Ideally what I would like to do is be able to select multiple tracks in a playlist and be given the same bulk options that I am provided in the library when selecting multiple tracks. Right now I’m attempting to modify tags and rating in bulk to songs that are in playlists. Currently the only bulk option I have right now in playlists is to remove tracks. The UI between playlists and library are completely different and should be the same. ---

There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to allow more actions based on multi-selection of items in a playlist. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
