This is a new one, my room mate notified me he couldn’t access the media on plex, so I turned off wifi on my phone to test it and sure enough, I could see the server, see all of the media, but if I tried to watch or listen to anything (music or movies) it would give me a “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.” error. The only issue I can think of is that my persistent issue where the Remote Access area says the server is not accessible outside of my network (it is) is still there, but as long as you watch from a browser or other smart device that isn’t a mobile app, it works just fine. Transcoding is not disabled, and I’m at a loss as to what it could be. As for the remote access issue, I’ve made sure port forwarding is good, and can’t really think of anything else to try.
