# Android TV - Skip Intro button "spamming" on every appearance

Ever since the latest update to the Plex player version on my Sony Bravia Smart TV (Android TV) - the update where the buttons underneath when highlighting a TV episode were shrunk down (like, the “play” and “more info” ones), the “Skip Intro” button is bugged out. I’m not sure how to describe it - it “spams”. You hear the sound that clicking it would make repeatedly while it’s displayed and for some time after it’s gone. I’ve taken a video because it’s the only way to understand it.
I’ve verified it’s not the TV, I’ve restarted the app and TV, I’ve cleared app data, and I’ve deleted/reinstalled. This is also happening on an Android TV at a friend’s house, so it’s not just mine. My remote is not sending any inputs (except for when I show it in the video, where I select the skip intro button one time) and Plex works fine elsewhere on the TV.
I can upload client logs if you like, but I checked them and there was absolutely nothing related to this. I don’t think it “knows” this is happening. I can’t upload a video here, so here’s a link: [https://vimeo.com/811611447](https://vimeo.com/811611447)

It’s a known issue that [will hopefully be fixed soon](https://forums.plex.tv/t/sound-clicking-when-skip-intro-dialogue-appears/834822/18).

Ugh, I searched for “skip intro” before this and didn’t see that post at all. Either I’m using search wrong or it needs to emphasize open issues better. Thanks.
