_I’ve used plex for long time now 4 or 5 years most of it not having my own account but as i be came 19 i had a play with it to so what i could do with my anime files #LoveAnime and i was thinking of having one tab and using the other videos setting for my library tab and its good and all but i would like to us it as like I’m using my movies and tv show in one tab so its not so messy and in one play but some would say just put it in my movie and show tab simple will yeah shore but when your sharing with family and friend there are some that don’t like or want to see it and i just think it would be cool to see that because i want to make the most of what little i got ( all so for those that would say just us animelab / Funimation or crunchyroll well let me tell you this regen block so then i would need to have more account for other sits like them and i dont want that and plex is cheaper like come on 8$ is a lot better then playing for Funimation, crunchyroll and animelab ) i hope this macks sence i just want to make things simple_

You know that you can have tons of different libraries of the same type.
There’s a lot of users with a “regular” tv show library and one dedicated as “Anime” library.

Other users prefer having all their shows in a single tv-show library. In such a setup you could still configure other users not to see those when you share with them (e.g. by assigning a “Label” to your anime shows and configure a restriction for your friends to exclude that label).

I would do that but my dad is sharing the plex box to me so i can us it and he said he’s not a fan of anime so I’m wanting to make its so he will not see unless he pins it or go to the more tab i think it could be cool to have a tv show and movie tab that’s all i just said anime as that’s the us i would us it for

There is no way to do that if the server is not yours.
You’ll need to set up a Plex server of your own.

did that… and it mested with his box and so we fussed them and we are sharing it so there’s no need for me to do that but thanks for the heads up

That is exactly what you can do.
You just need to make sure that the Anime library is _not_ pinned in any of Dad’s clients,

Not sure what you mean. You can’t combine 2 servers together. If you have your own server, your dad won’t/can’t see it.

well the long meaning for the 2 server becoming one is i shut mine down and added my stuff to my dads and really all i was asking in this post was if there was a way to have all my anime i got in one tab not two even if the movies / show

That is a whole different topic.
And no, there is no way to combine a “tv show” and a “movies” library.
