Hi!

I know there is an API even though not everything is correctly documented.

I also know Plex recently released lists.

Does anybody know if there is a way to call the API to get what’s inside one of those lists?

Thanks a lot

Plex released official documentation, [https://developer.plex.tv/](https://developer.plex.tv/). Not sure if your aware of it. It looks like a new app thing, or web only thing atm. So I don’t think the PMS webclient has the features yet.

TBH I didn’t know about it until I read this post, so I might be completely wrong…

I did actually see those but this API is for a Plex Server and the information I need is for a Plex account which isn’t managed directly by the server… I have yet to find official documentation for accounts API even though some requests exists.

Lists don’t live on the server. They are always connected to the plex user account, which lives on [plex.tv](http://plex.tv)

Which id why I’m trying to figure out what api call can retrieve them since a lot of informations that live on [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) can be called through some api requests but I haven’t found the one specifically for the new lists

Lists might be missing from the official API documentation because they’re so new.
The relevant API features might also still be in flux, because they still could get changed – the public deployment of lists could make that necessary if it reveals some insufficiency which only reveals itself in large workloads.

Maybe you could “watch” what [watch.plex.tv](http://watch.plex.tv) is doing, when working with lists.
