# App.plex.tv Isnt working

Server Version#: Tried Latest and 1.24.4.5081  
Player Version#: app.plex.tv

Hi There,  
Ik having issues with app.plex.tv it can connect to my server and shows content, i just cant play it. also the settings and states page show an error : Something went wrong  
An unexpected error occurred.  
The strange thing is that all of this works when i connect locally or via my external IP.

What browser are you using? If using Chrome, check if you are updated to 98.0.4758.102

This is a known browser bug in Chromium based browsers, Chrome and MS Edge. The issue has been addressed with Chrome update to ver 98.0.4758.102.

It looks like Edge still has the issue with “ This page is having a problem!” error at ver 98.1108.62

MS Edge has now been updated to ver 99.0 it is working now and not crashing like before playing video files.
