Plex local content cannot be integrated with the Apple TV app since Plex cannot provide local content information to Apple.

Thats such a pity. They are doing it for the Android TV platform though and it really is nice to see what you can play next on my Nvidia Shield for example. So do we know why? Is it Apple? Is there something we can do, like complain to Apple?

Statement from a Plex employee regarding this feature:
> This feature will only work with our free on demand movies and TV shows. We’d love to integrate personal media as well but that’s not technically possible for a couple reasons. To make this work we provide Apple with a list of content we have available for streaming. As detailed in our privacy policy, we don’t know what content our users have in their personal media libraries.
