I’d really like to be able to listen to my music/audiobooks using Plexamp and Apple Watch.
sorry, not currently.
Plexamp on Apple Watch would be delicious. I’m imagining building an album or artist mix during the morning and syncing it for a run in the arvo. Like I do with the Tidal app except with sonic analysis smarts.
Can I build it? I’ll sign an NDA haha
+1 for Apple Watch integration.
This seems to have been quested a few times over the last couple of years.
I am not a developer by any stretch, but my assumption about the relative tight integration of Apple devices and corresponding OSes would possibly suggest to me it would be relatively trivial to do this for an Apple watch, UI notwithstanding.
With this device having a cellular plan, not having to carry a phone around on a run would be amazing.
No current plans, sorry.
We know. That’s the exact same response for the last couple of years too.
What can we as users do to get it into the plans?
Hope it becomes a priority for some (new) reason. Our app is written in a way to make it share a lot of code between all 7 platforms we ship on. The Apple Watch is a closed ecosystem where we’d basically have to write an app from scratch. None of us want to do that.
This makes a lot of sense, the Audible Apple Watch app has been trash for years and that’s a trillion dollar company.
