It appears that artists and albums can be downloaded twice in Plexamp? Is there a way to just sync albums once?
Also, is there a way to see that an album has downloaded when viewing it in the Plexamp library? It appears I have to look in the downloaded section to know?
And If I sync an album on a mobile device using the mobile plex app, why is that album not available as a download in Plexamp? Surely Plex and Plexamp can share directories for downloaded Music?
And why can I not advance to the next songs when using Plex in the Car using my car controls? They work with Apple Music?
Every thing you sync is downloaded. If you choose to download overlapping things, they are downloaded multiple times, just to keep accounting simple. If you try to download a duplicate item it should warn and prevent (e.g. downloading an actual album twice in a row).
Not currently. The download system isn’t intended for you to download a massive amount of things, so it’s not supposed to be a general issue.

That should work fine. I don’t know what your specific car controls are or how you’re connecting to you car. Please post more details and a Plexamp debug log if it’s not working.
