# .ASS Subtitles Issue

Hi all,  
.  
I’ve had this problem for a few months now whereby when I play a TV show with .ASS subtitles, the subtitles almost always display incorrectly ar first (too big and go off the screen to the right).

If I switch off the subtitles and then turn them or again, or I stop playback and start again a few times, this fixes the issue and the subtitles play fine.

I am on the latest versions of the server (QNAP TS-453D) and players fire stick / android mobile device - I have the same issue on both.

Any advice?
