Assistance with Plex transcoder crashing during streaming of only certain media

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I could not find a dedicated help section for this. I have found numerous forum posts referring to a problem similar as mine, but not exactly the same thing. details below:

Server : 1.13.2.5154 on Windows 10 64

Issue: upon playback of certain movies and TV shows, the episode will play for aproximately 2-5 minutes and then the transcoder will crash. If i start the same media up again, it will play aproximately 2-5 minutes again, but then when it crashes the whole operating system will crash. It will result in a frozen OS with the frozen ‘drone’. The computer will then reboot. For some reason, this only happens with certain media, and does not seem to share and specific file types or formats for the offending media. any help is greatly appreciated. Both your log sets have verbose turned on. Can you please turn it off, reproduce and upload logs again.

Plex let us know which file you were playing during reproduction. What Plex Player app are you using?

I was watching an X265 MKV file, but i’ve also had it happen when i’m watching certain AVI files as well. This happens in the web viewer on the server, but i’ve also had it happen on the mobile android app and the roku app. thanks for the help.
