I’m curious if anyone else keeps their audiobook library in Plex? if so how do you have it setup? I setup a Music library and managed to get them imported, but each one is a single long track, no chapters. Would appreciate any help on getting this setup. ---

Chapters are setup in the file itself. And I have a fairly large library in order to use audio books in plex you need to ensure your metadata is correct. I use author = artist, and album = book title, along with either blank track titles or chaptered titles. Then I number the files in order of the book. And the file names have the same info: `Robert Louis Stevenson - Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and Other Stories - 01 of 03.mp3` I also embed the cover art into the files. and store them: `Books///files`. If your metadata isnt 100% right it will make a mess of this. my filename template is:` %artist%\%album%\%artist% - %album% - %track% of %totaltracks%` Use Plex Music Scanner, and Personal Media Artists as the agent --- <div class="post-metadata"> **Author:** ![system](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/2/a/2acb9765406f63293d357b4ec509ec39aa28f2ad.png) [@system](https://forums.plex.tv/u/system)\ **Post date:** [June 15, 2023, 11:23pm UTC](https://forums.plex.tv/t/audiobook-setup/834818/3 "2023-06-15T23:23:18Z") </div> This topic was automatically closed 90 days after the last reply.
