# Auto mark selected shows as watched?

Is there a way to mark selected tv shows as watched automatically? For instance, I have shows that are added for a family member, but I don’t care to see in my unwatched view. I would really like a way to permanently mark a series as ‘watched’.

Plexweb (or various clients/devices)/Go to the Item’s Main Page/Left Pane/Mark Watched

That’s the manual way. I want to be able to mark a series permanently watched so that even if a new episode is added, it doesn’t show up under my user account as new.

I would like this functionality as well. I really would like Bachelorette and Call the Midwife to be marked as watched automatically in my profile.
