# Auto Skip Intros not found

Player Version#: web player

I usually watch Plex on my PC using the Plex Web Player.

According to this [Plex Pass | Plex](https://www.plex.tv/plex-pass/) there should be an option to auto skip intros for TV shows, but I can’t find the option anywhere. It’s not under library where the generate intro markers are. Yes, I do have Plex Pass. Any insight in how to turn this on?

It needs to be enabled in server settings. and per library you want it done to. Then it needs to do the analysis of files. [https://support.plex.tv/articles/skip-content/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/skip-content/)

Yes. It is enabled and the analysis is done, and the skip intro button appears. What does NOT appear is what I mentioned in my post. The AUTO skip option. You’ll see in my post that I mentioned the generate auto makers for the skip intro button.

The link you provided does not mention the auto skip feature, which is what my question is about.

Do you have any ideas on how to get the AUTO SKIP option to work?

The article I linked to says “Intros and credits can now be skipped automatically (bye-bye button), disabled (for credit lovers), or chosen manually each time via the Skip Credits button. (Skip Intro is for personal media only.)”

This is what I’m looking for. I already have the skip intro setup and it is working fine. I’m specifically asking about the skipped automatically part.

@coysherk is correct Plex Web (IE Using Google Chrome) does not have an auto skip for either intro or credits. I have see the setting in the Windows player app and on smart TV/phone players.

It does not exist in the web or desktop apps.

I don’t even see it on the Plex Player app on Windows. I don’t see it on Samsung or LG Plex apps.

On Samsung LG they should be under Player Experience.

The Web and Desktop app do not and have never had it.
