# Automatic scan for a single library

Hi, everyone,
is there a way to update only one library with the automatic scan and not the others?
I access the TV recordings from my Enigma2 receiver and would like them to be updated regularly.

I’m afraid, Plex cannot do that selectively per library.
Your only chance is to trigger a library scan via other means.
If the Enigma software can send a http request to a selectable address, it could automatically start a library scan after finishing the recording.

Alternatively, you could set up a job in Windows’ task scheduler to do periodically the same.

Thank you very much, the way with the Windows scheduler seams good enough 🙂
But I think I try it with the URL command.
I’ll give it a try.

Just don’t crank up the scan frequency too often.
Go for once an hour or less.
