# Backing up personal metadata

I just accidentally deleted one of my libaries containing over 1000 titles that i manually added metadata to. Before I start this again… can i back up my created metadata? I can’t spend hours and hours doing this again

You should be able to restore the database. This should at least help getting back your manually edited titles / descriptions. For posters/backdrops etc. it’ll depend on how you deleted your media and if the Plex data folder is still intact.
