# Backup Capability for Server Settings Not Content OR Rollback

Plex requires a rollback and server settings functionality. I know that a volunteer here on the forum has generously written and supports a PoSH script, but that is a kludge. Plex needs to do this esp. for PAYING subscribers, and a rollback feature for when an update BUGGERS an individual user’s local install. This is no longer a “nice to have” it’s a we’ve got to have this or people are going to start going with other media solutions. When will this be implemented? A week? A month? 90 days? Please advise.
