I need a way to backup or export my Music ratings. I don’t know that I have the correct answer on how to do this, but I know I’ve put too much time into rating my music and creating playlists based off of that.

1. Ratings can be exported to the file (Only helpful to the owner)
2. Ratings can be exported to a playlist (5 star playlist, 4 start playlist, ect) - Plex would need to give us the option to import these playlists and select all songs in the playlist to rate them all the same which I believe they have removed within the last year or two. I can’t select and rate all songs in a playlist anymore. (This is only helpful if the location of the file does not change)
3. Ratings can be exported to a service like Spotify - Plex would need to add that integration.

Early 2021 clean-up:

- As for simply backing up view states and ratings… this can already be done (see the [related support article](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201154527-move-viewstate-ratings-from-one-install-to-another/))
- As for the specific use cases
  1. export to file → duplicate

[Music Metadata Syncronisation](https://forums.plex.tv/t/music-metadata-syncronisation/219434)
  2. export as playlist → duplicate

  3. export to 3rd party services → integrations are available/possible w/ 3rd party solutions (e.g. Trakt / Webhooks…)
