# Bitmap Subtitles Rendering incorrectly with Intel Arc GPU

Server Version#: 1.41.4.9399  
Player Version#: Web player, also appears with apps on Vizio TVs and Google Chromecasts

CPU: AMD 5600G  
GPU: Intel Arc A380  
Installed on TrueNAS through the apps catalogue

With the AMD iGPU selected for hardware transcoding bitmap subs (vobsub/pgs) render correctly:

With the Intel Arc GPU selected for hardware transcoding bitmap subs render incorrectly

It looks like the burn in thinks the subtitle images are the wrong width leading to the distorted text.

With burned in text subtitles (srt) the Arc GPU renders correctly as well, so the problem is only with image subtitle formats.

The Arc GPU is not supported by PMS.

Very sorry to say but If it functions, great but if not then that’s unfortunate.
