Sorry to be back with this topic. I know it was solved 2 times before and the posts are close. But i have to open it again. Because Before the last update I was able to select “use old player” in the settings and the solved the problem. But with the last update, the option isn’t available anymore. What should I do?
Do you have a sample of the file and app logs we can test with to try to figure out what the problem is. Or media info about the file so we can try to find a similar one to reproduce.
It does that with every video extension. Like I said before. Turning off the new player everything was fine but with the last update. It’s not there anymore so it force you to use the new player. I’m using Plex from the google store on an android tv box.
you need to enabled network logging in settings of the app then there will be a URL in the bottom right corner of screen where you can access from a computer on the network. Details in the link above in my previous post
Copy the logs to a text file and attach the file in this topic (drag and drop in text entry) or click my username then the message button and attach in message to me.
It would not hurt to get the logs from the server and the client covering he same playback attempt. The xml from the media would help as well if not a sample file.
