# Bug: Mobile videos have incorrect orientation

Player Version#: issue seen across iOS, Roku, and web player
So I have a pretty extensive library of family home videos in Plex. It’s what my other users view most often. And when I was only ripping old VHSes and DVDs all was well.
But of course 98% of our family videos these days are shot on phones, and I’ve run into an issue when trying to add **those** videos to my library — most show up in Plex upside down (and the vertical ones are sideways).
They play normally outside of Plex (tested on a couple of phones and both a mac and a pc). I really don’t want to have to go and edit/re-encode hundreds of videos on Handbrake or something if I can avoid it. Any one else experience similar?
