On Linux (Synology DS412+)
I'm excited that the plex guys finally added the multiple movie version support to Linux (was available on mac PMS for a while). However, it seems that it isn't working so well. Not sure if this is related to the metadata/poster problem that myself and others are reporting with 9.7.7/6 versions of PMS. What I mean by multiple versions is that this feature means that you can have more than one resolution of a movie or different types of the same movie (director's cut/Theatrical release etc.) and Plex will give you the choice to play either one. I followed the naming convention for this to work and it seemed to work when I first set it up (although it would only display "1mb" as the option in the dropdown), but when I tried another deep scan it removed the "grouping" of the versions..I hope I explained the issue well enough. Let me know if you need more clarification.
Thanks.
