I am having the same problem, is plex going to reply on a way to fix this?
I do not want to install AnWave as it is immediately flagged by antivirus

OK after a google search for “windows 11 ac3” I found this:

> **[Dolby AC-3/AC-4 Installer](https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/dolby_ac_3ac_4_installer.html)**
>
> Dolby AC-3/AC-4 Installer includes the necessary installers for Microsoft Dolby AC-3 and AC-4 audio technologies. These technologies are essential for integrating Dolby AC-3 and AC-4 into your multimedia applications and ensuring high-quality audio...

and I installed it and it works now (tested on EAC3 audio)
