The “See More” selection (ie. the poster with the + sign that allowed you to see more On Deck, Recently Added, etc. items) has gone missing from every single home row in the Apple TV app.
This option should be used more not less. Removing the unified Recently Added TV row and this removal (coupled with row lengths now showing 30+ items) increases resources needed to load pages. There’s no need to load that many posters on a Home Screen like this.
Additionally sometimes server admins dump a lot of content at once on their servers or a user (non-admin) hasn’t used Plex in a while and would like a quick way to see a longer list of what’s been added recently. The “See More Poster” allowed the non-techie user to do this without having to fiddle with sort options in library sections. It’s more convenient for tech-literate users as well.
The feature should be expanded and used for all rows on “Media Item” pages as well for the “More with…” (More with should really link to a cast/crew bio page at this point, scraping bio metadata and showing all owned filmography across all library sections) and Genre rows (though right now those seem to be missing in every item page I’ve checked today).
Please fix.
