I’ve had this problem for quite some time.
When viewing the Movie library and sorting by Critic Rating does not sort the folder correctly.
What type of rating are you using for that library (e.g. IMDb, TMDb or Rotten Tomatoes)?
IIRC, only RT has a dedicated critic rating.
IMDB (I assume you mean in the library definition on the Plex Server).
If the Critic Rating is limited to RT only, maybe it should be disabled if the rating provider does not support it.
IMDB ratings are considered user ratings. There’s no critics involved in what ratings you get from there…
There’s a number of scenarios where you can end up with different rating types; so I guess that’s why it’s kept anyway.
Checking on IMDB, it does show critic reviews, albeit the source data is from Metacritic :
Also, if the Critic Data is not available in IMDB, would it be better to use the User Review scores as a fallback, rather than be broken completely ?
Lastly, even though IMDB is being used, the summary page for any movie does show the Reviews for popular publications, as such the rating could be scraped along with the text.
