# Can’t claim server

Server Version#: 1.40.2.8395
Player Version#: N/A
As far as I can tell, everything is configured properly. The PLEX server software recognizes my computer, and it also sees my TERRAMASTER server, yet it will not allow access until the server is “CLAIMED”, but the claiming action fails every time.
How do I go about trouble shooting this and has anyone else faced this issue?
Why is there not a simple “ADD AUTHORIZED DEVICE” command?
And is the inability of the CLAIM SERVER command to complete related to the fact that the server is not listed among the authorized devices?
