# Cannot access Plex server on Nvidia Shield anymore

Hello, I have a NAS running and Plex Server on the Nvidia Shield. Everything worked well up to recently. On the Shield everything runs still well.
HOWEVER, through the app.plex.tv access or a IOS app on the iPad I cannot see the Plex Server anymore. Same network. Same logins. Restarted server. New login to server. Both server and apps are logged in. I tried to follow all the steps.
The problem now is that I cannot change anything on the server anymore and also I cannot enforce sync of the library.
Anybody who can help me into the right direction of getting the Plex Server to show up again in the apps?
I hope this is not a functionality not available anymore without a pass?

I solved my own issue. Somehow I could access the app directly through [http://IP](http://IP) Address:32400/web and found out that the server needed to be “reclaimed”. After I did that I found I have normal access again and the Shield is now appearing in the apps again as Plex Server and I can do all I could do before.

Same problem, unfortunately I could not access my server from another computer in the same network like arnoud69 mentioned.
I created at similar post and overlord227 answered he solved it by using SSH, did not work for me either… but maybe that’s me, I do not really know what I am doing with SSH.

It seems like quite a few users experienced a similar situation, I wonder why nobody from the Plex Team has an answer for this?
