# Cannot Claim Plex Server - TrueNas Scale

Hi all! I am having trouble claiming my server. I have read through most of the related threads here but have not found the exact solution to my problem.
1.) I uninstalled Plex and reinstalled a few times but with no luck.
2.) nslookup [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) worked successfully.
To note:
1.) I previously had set up a plex server on an old laptop associated with this account and it all worked well. I uninstalled all Plex-related apps on that laptop but is there something else I should have done?
2.) In my plex Library folder, there is a Preferences.xml file - upon opening it, the PlexOnlineToken field is blank (PlexOnlineToken=“”/\>) - even though I provided a Plex Claim Token during the install…are these the same thing?
I’d be happy to provide any additional info, been working on this for the last 3 days but with no luck just yet! While I appreciate this learning experience, it is starting to become bothersome!
Also - this update is always here, would that cause this issue (not sure how to update an app in TrueNas just yet from an outside source.
