# Cannot CLAIM Server

Installed Windows 11 on a new drive and then installed Plex Media Server but cannot CLAIM server.

(NOTE: when clicked on the manually option I get a web folder that says that cannot be accessed)

Is this Plex Media Server server or something else?  
If it’s the former, this version is _ancient._

You should not try and run such an old version. Serious bugs and security weaknesses have been identified in the product, which have been fixed in newer releases: [Plex Media Server - #721 by drzoidberg33](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-media-server/30447/last)

Thank you for your quick response! This morning when I turned the PC on and opened Plex Media Server, it was OK (Miracle?). I have downloaded the new version that you suggested and I will be updating shortly. Thanks so much for your help.
