# Cannot connect to LG webOS app remotely

Player Version#:5.31.1
Hello, I’m trying to login remotely on my Plex server but cannot log in. I already set insecure connections to Always. My TV is LG C9.

Can you connect to your server/libraries using a different app (e.g. the browser version of Plex)?
You might want to upgrade your server… version 1.18.4 is rather ancient (this version has been released 2+ years ago)

I upgraded but cannot connect still. I have disabled IPv6 as well. The only solution i can think of is to load PLEX in my PS4, I know my remote set up is correct because I can access remotely on PS4. But it’s still to access on webOS.

Any particular error messages on your tv?
If you write it fails to sign in, that doesn’t sound like a remote access issue in the first place

No error, just when I click ‘retry connection’ it’s not logging in to my server. I did however install the app on my PS4 and it was able to connect, so there should be no issues with my remote settings. So it’s either I have incorrect settings or it’s not compatible with webOS now.
