# Cannot connect to plex server on new NVidia Shield

Hi - Just installed my Shield Pro and wanted to setup Plex on it - I keep getting the error Shield Android TV unavailable. I dont see any options to configure the server on the shield, just the Plex client which also says it cannot connect to the server. What am I doing wrong?

Review the “Setting Up and Managing…” support document.

Once the Plex Media Server is running, point a browser at it to claim and configure, [http://shield.ip.address:32400/web](http://shield.ip.address:32400/web). The Shield’s IP address is available in the Shield settings or in the lower right corner of the screen when in the Plex app settings.

If you’ve never run Plex Media Server on a Shield, then review all the Nvidia Shield support documents.

Your not doing anything wrong, PMS is currently full of bugs and largely broken on latest Shield experience.
