Plex wont let me create a collection i get
Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again.

Please check if this issue persists after optimizing the database of your server (`Settings` \> `[Server Name]` \> `Troubleshooting`).

I’ve seen users where restarting the server helped. Otherwise your [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) should show what’s going wrong.

had a look at logs but its like looking into a haystack for me, no idea

Are you perhaps trying to use a collection name which is already in use by a smart collection?
