# Cannot log in on plex media server

Server Version#: Windows 10 pro
Player Version#: 2.58.0.1076-38e019da-windows-x64
Two days ago Plex Media Server quit working. Checked to see if it was still signed in to network. Wasn’t. Haven’t been able to sign back in since. When I right click on the Plex icon and select Open Plex I get the sign on screen. Selecting continue with email and filling in the user/password I am greeted with a quick flash of you’ve successfully signed in and then the screen changes to the message: Plex Web would like to sign in to your Plex account. There was an error signing in
I have uninstalled both Plex Media server and the Plex app. I have reinstalled the newest versions of each but the results are the same. I cannot sign in to the Plex Media server. I can sign in on the Plex app, but this does not let me set up the Server. Can’t find anything relevant on the Forum. Help please

Were you able to get this issue resolved? I’m seeing the same thing on a newly installed Media server on a newly installed Windows PC.

FYI, I found another forum post on this and the issue ended up being Firefox, so the browser itself was the cause of the issue.
