So, it’s a connection issue with portuguese ISP’s? Or can it be.

First things to try:

1. Use a random port number for the public port, and not the well-known 32400.
2. Tell your router to use a different DNS server and not the one which is supplied by your ISP. Known working ones are 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8
3. If you after doing 1) and 2) still have trouble accessing your server even in the local network, try re-claiming your server [https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/)

Changing port and DNS made it work, but now I get this

That’s a wholly different issue.
Check the [plex media info](https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201998867-Investigate-Media-Information-and-Formats) of that item. At the top is the address under which Plex is expecting the file to find. Compare that to the location where the file is actually at. (Or whether it exists at all.)

I can’t verify that this address is valid from the view point of Plex server. If it runs inside of a docker, the paths it can access can look quite different.
But that is how far my expertise reaches when it comes to Linux and Docker.

I can only give you this: [Linux Tips](https://forums.plex.tv/t/linux-tips/276247/1)

So Portuguese ISP’s are blocking Plex ?

@pedroma37

[![](https://i.imgur.com/vwrQCS7.png) ](https://i.imgur.com/vwrQCS7.png)

Get into the container on the command line and manually walk down the path

```auto
docker exec -it _container_name_ bash
cd /data
cd media
cd movies
ls
```

Now see what’s there and continue to `cd` deeper to confirm it’s all there

When these type errors appear. it’s either a directory mapping or a UID mapping problem. (Permissions)

It was a directory mapping, all good now

I have a similar scenario (and yes, I’m also portuguese, even though I don’t think it’s related).

I’m running Plex over Docker on an unraid server. All of a sudden, I stopped getting access to my server.
After a lot of attempts, and changes, and trying to claim the server again, I came to the conclusion that, somehow, the docker engine is resolving plex.tv to a different IP address than the host does.

For me, switching from a custom docker network to using the host’s network fixed it. I’m going to keep it like this for now until I figure out how to fix the name resolution on the docker engine.

I’m portuguese and also lost remote access to my server. Not running docker so not an issue with misconfiguration.

Edit: changing port number worked but it can’t be a coincidence that all of a sudden we’re all being affected
