# Cannot remove remote media server

There is a remote server I added years ago that shows up on my Plex.
The connection is fine and there are no issues with playing any content.
However, I now want to remove this server.
I go to Settings / Authorized Devices, this server does not show up.
How do I get rid of this remote server?
My Plex server is : Version 1.28.1.6018

Is this a server owned by someone else and sharing libraries with you?
If so, go to [Manage Library Access](https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access).
From an account with whom I share libraries. Clicking on the X will remove sharing and access to the server.
