Update has an extension of .tgz. When I try to install it says "Error: only Debian (.deb) packages are allowed.

I’m getting this message as well. I’m tempted to rename the file “plexmediaserver-r9k-1.23.3.4707-ebb5fe9f3-armv7.tgz” to “.deb”, but everything is working too good to botch it up.
