# Cannot verify email

Good day, I am trying to verify my email address, however, every time I click on the link that is provided in the verification email sent to me, it just takes me to a page that says “nothing to see here”. Can someone please assist with how I can get my email address verified? Thanking you.

First thing to try is to use a web browser without any browser add-ins. Preferably one of the big 3. If your router has ad-blocking in it, disable that temporarily.
Are you intending to use this plex account for an own personal Plex Media Server?

@OttoKerner Thank you for your reply. I have disabled uBlock Origin on my browser, which is Edge and my router has no ad blocking in it.
Secondly, I am not sure if this can be mentioned, I am using a VPN to connect so that I can watch things that are not available in South africa.

I’d still try with Firefox or Chrome.
You might also try this process with both VPN active, and disabled.

@OttoKerner Thanks, however, I have resolved the issue. I reconnected my VPN first, THEN did a resend of the verification email, received a totally different email from the previous ones and my email address is now verified. Thank you for the assistance.
