# Can't Change Artist

The folder that has been added to the Plex library is `/Artists Flac`?  
Are you ripping/downloading directly into this folder? i.e. is Plex perhaps able to scan the files before they are complete, or before you have added or corrected the metadata in them?  
If so: don’t.

Try the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) with this album. Actually, I’d check the Album Artist tag of _all_ albums inside of `/Artists Flac/Jerry Garcia` (they must be identical), then [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) them together.
