# Can't connect from TV

Server Version#: Version 1.24.3.5033, on Windows 10  
Player Version#: Client Version 5.27.3, Platform Version 4.9.0  
TV: LG

My friend can’t connect to my Plex server with her TV, while she has no problem to connect to it on her computer. Just the TV doesn’t want to connect to my server.

According to the settings, my Plex is full accessible from outside my network. I have manually forwarded the port, and I normally don’t have problems to connect with my mobile while I’m out.

What can I do to troubleshoot this? How can I get this TV to work?

I would suggest that she pick up a Chromecast with Google TV as its probably the best low cost client out there imo.

Your welcome! I would be careful with allowing insecure connections long term though. That is why I suggested they look in the Google TV dongle. Its an excellent little client that eliminates the need for insecure connections at a pretty low price. I think they are like $40-50 right now.
