I could use some help troubleshooting Plex.

My Plex Media Server runs on a Mac Studio Pro. Plex works perfectly on my Pixel 10 Pro XL and iPad Pro. However, I can no longer access my media library from my LG G5 TV. I get an error saying that “The Server is Unreachable”. All of these devices are running inside my home on the same network.

The only way Plex works on the TV is if I turn off NordVPN on the Mac running the server. I previously used Plex on this TV and my previous TV with NordVPN enabled on my server without any problems. Currently, my phone and iPad are running NordVPN and Plex works fine on both.

I have tried all the basic troubleshooting steps. I deleted and reinstalled the Plex app on the TV, power cycled the TV, restarted my modem and router, removed all authorized devices in Plex, then added them back. Even after doing this, the TV still cannot find my library. I also removed all the authorized devices from Plex. When my phone and iPad signed back in they immediately showed the library with only my TV still not working.

This may be a coincidence, but the issue seemed to start around the time I switched NordVPN protocols and/or servers. That said, every other device still works, so the problem appears limited to the TV.

One more question. For anyone using NordVPN, how are you accessing your Plex library outside your home network. The only method that has ever worked for me is NordVPN Meshnet, but I was told that running it all the time is not ideal from a security standpoint.

Any insight would be appreciated.
