I’ve tried rebooting everything

manual port on/off

disable remote access off/on

uninstalling plex and re-installing older (1.42.2) to see if the update did something.

turned off/on Upnp in Deco Mesh router.

I’ve tried both port forwarding my pc and without.

Empire Internet box is set to bypass and my Deco router is the DHCP/control.

No matter what I do it get green for a few seconds to a minute, then red “not available outside your network”.

Inside my house everything runs perfectly. If i try from my phone with wifi off i don’t see it.

I have lifetime Play pass.

I’ve added my log files.

I feel like I’m going in circles at this point.

\<If providing [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only [debug logging](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/#toc-1) should be enabled\>

Ignore that initial „green“… that’s just Plex optimistically assuming it’s working while testing your remote access status.

Have you been able to verify your manual port forward is working (e.g. using a service like [canyouseeme.org](http://canyouseeme.org))?

> When it comes to remote access, there’s a lot of different factors which can impact your setup. Some are under your own control, others not so much. First off… there’s a dedicated [support article on troubleshooting your remote access](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/). I strongly recommend you have a look at that. Find below some additional remarks on how to troubleshoot your remote access setup. Review your internet access / remote access configuration It’s good practice to review if Plex gets the correct public IP address…

Call your ISP and see if you can have a static public ip and what the cost is.

Can anyone help?

I’m in exactly the same situation. I’ve checked everything in the troubleshooting guidance. I’m not in Double NAT, my port forwarding rules have not changed in two years, my router hasn’t changed, I’ve not changed ISP- in fact I’ve not changed anything. But I’ve had the Not Accessible Outside Your Network message for 2 weeks.

Yes, I’ve got a static IP address, I’m not in CGNAT.

This all worked perfectly well. But now, whatever I try, nothing seems to improve the situation.

Start your own thread and include server debug logs.

And what is a server debug log and where do run it from?

I’m not a regular user of the system as it has always worked well, so you’ll have to excuse me for not knowing the ins and outs.

debug is under settings. there’s a debug option on all of the choices in the left column. flip to enabled. do not do verbose. i then restarted plex to let it fail and get info. then you download and upload to your post as an attachment.

for my issue — i called my ISP support. they opened a ticket and someone was to call me within 24 hours. He did say they’ve gotten several CGNAT calls recently. Yesterday morning my entire internet went offline for a few minutes. When it came back up, plex worked again. Still no call, but I am fully functional. I’m going to guess they did something. But what? I don’t know.

If your setup has not changed, Plex update could be the culprit. What worked for me was to disable Windows firewall, which caused remote access to become stable. I then created an inbound FW rule to allow the connection to plex media server.exe. along with a port rule for 32400 and re-enabled the FW.

I seem to have had a flash of inspiration. I use EE as my ISP and they provide Norton as security software. It appears Norton had been over zealous and thought that changing the network to Public would be helpful! Having set it back to Private, rebooted the router, I now appear to be up and running again.
